Some other support hubs are currently proposed or emerging. The contacts are:
Brighton & Hove
New community-led housing hubs are currently being developed in Leeds and Bristol, with Big Lottery funding provided by Power to Change.
In addition, ACRE (Action for Communities in Rural England) has a network of 38 Rural Community Councils across England, some of whom are now developing expertise in community-led housing. A full list of ACRE members can be found on their website
All the national and regional organisations listed above are able to provide local support to individual local authorities and housing associations, either through their own staff, associates or local consultants. Locally-based community-led housing organisations may also be able to offer advice and support; each national organisation has a database of members.
An online National CLH Platform is under development at the time of writing this Toolkit. Once up and running, it will provide a regularly updated one-stop shop for the community-led housing sector, as well as providing a valuable resource for local authorities and housing associations.
The map below shows the status of CLH Hubs across England at January 2018.
